AI LAB 10X Software Pvt. Ltd. ("AI LAB 10X", "we", "our", or "us") operates the Adiviksha mobile application and related educational services.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, process, and protect information when users access or use Adiviksha, including when users interact with AI-powered features.
By using Adiviksha, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Where consent is required for a particular feature, including certain AI-powered features, Adiviksha will request that consent before the relevant information is transmitted or processed.

When users create or use an account, we may collect:

- School, institution, class, grade, or course information, if provided

1.3 AI Assistant Information
When a user chooses to use the AI Assistant and provides the required consent, we may collect and process:

- Relevant previous messages from the conversation when needed to maintain conversation context
- Relevant learning or educational context needed to generate a useful response
- AI-generated responses
- Feedback about AI-generated responses, if the user chooses to provide it
Information submitted through the AI Assistant may be transmitted to Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, provided by Microsoft, as described in Section 3 of this Privacy Policy.
Users should not enter passwords, payment card details, government-issued identification numbers, highly confidential information, or other sensitive personal information into the AI Assistant unless the application specifically requests such information for a clearly stated purpose.
1.4 Device and Technical Information
We may collect technical information necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Adiviksha, including:
- Device model
- Operating system version
- App version
- Crash logs
- Diagnostic information
- Usage analytics
2. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and operate the Adiviksha application
- Create and manage user accounts
- Authenticate users
- Provide educational and personalized learning experiences
- Generate AI-powered educational assistance

3. AI Assistant and Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service
Adiviksha uses Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, provided by Microsoft, to power the AI Assistant and generate educational responses.
3.1 Information Sent to Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service
When a user provides consent and uses the AI Assistant, Adiviksha may transmit the following information to Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service:
- Messages, questions, prompts, and instructions entered into the AI Assistant
- Relevant previous conversation messages required to maintain conversation context
- Relevant learning or educational context needed to generate the requested response
This information is sent to Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service so that the AI model can understand the user's request and generate an appropriate educational response.
3.2 User Consent
Before Adiviksha sends AI Assistant information to Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, the application displays a data-sharing disclosure explaining:
- What information will be sent
- That the information is sent to Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service
- Why the information is being sent
The user is asked to provide explicit permission before the information is transmitted.
If the user does not provide consent, Adiviksha will not send the user's AI Assistant messages to Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, and AI Assistant functionality that requires this processing will not be available.
If the nature of the information shared, the third-party recipient, or the purposes of AI processing materially change, Adiviksha may request consent again before continuing the affected AI functionality.
3.3 Third-Party AI Processing
Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service is a Microsoft cloud service. Information submitted through the AI Assistant may therefore be processed on Microsoft Azure infrastructure in accordance with applicable Microsoft service terms, data protection commitments, security practices, and the Azure configuration selected by AI LAB 10X.
We require third-party service providers that process personal information on our behalf to process that information only for authorized purposes and to provide protections that are the same as, or equivalent to, the protections required under applicable law and our contractual arrangements.
Adiviksha does not intentionally share AI Assistant conversations with Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service for unrelated advertising or marketing purposes.
4. AI-Generated Content
AI-generated responses may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a user's specific circumstances.
Adiviksha applies safeguards and content controls intended to provide an age-appropriate educational experience. Users should independently verify important educational information using teachers, textbooks, or other reliable sources.
The AI Assistant should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or other expert advice.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell users' personal information.
We may share information with service providers only when reasonably necessary to operate and provide Adiviksha, including:
- Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service (Microsoft) for AI-powered educational assistance, subject to user consent as described in this Privacy Policy
- Cloud infrastructure providers for application hosting and infrastructure
- Authentication providers for account creation and login
- Analytics and crash-reporting providers for application diagnostics and performance
- Customer support and communication providers where necessary to provide support
- Legal or regulatory authorities when disclosure is required by law
Service providers are permitted to process information only for authorized purposes and are subject to applicable contractual, security, confidentiality, and data-protection requirements.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect user information, including:

- Access restrictions
- Secure cloud infrastructure
- Security monitoring and operational controls
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Account Deletion
Users can initiate permanent deletion of their Adiviksha account directly within the application.
To delete an account:
Open Adiviksha → Profile → Delete Account
The application will ask the user to confirm the deletion before proceeding.
Account deletion permanently removes the user's account and associated personal information from Adiviksha's active systems, subject to information that we may be required or permitted to retain under applicable law.

9. User Rights and Privacy Choices
Depending on applicable law, users may have the right to:
- Access personal information associated with their account
- Correct inaccurate personal information

9.1 AI Assistant Consent
Users may choose not to consent to the transmission of AI Assistant information to Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service.
If consent is not provided, Adiviksha will not transmit the user's AI Assistant messages to Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, and functionality requiring that processing will not be available.
Where available within Adiviksha, users may review or change their AI privacy choices. Users may also contact admin@ailab10x.in regarding privacy or consent questions.
10. Children's Privacy
Adiviksha is an educational application intended for students and learners.
Where required by applicable law, children should use Adiviksha under the supervision or with the consent of a parent, guardian, school, or educational institution.
Adiviksha applies safeguards and content controls intended to provide an age-appropriate educational experience.
If we become aware that personal information has been collected in violation of applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to delete or restrict that information.

11. Third-Party Services
Adiviksha may use third-party service providers for functions such as:

For AI processing, Adiviksha uses Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, provided by Microsoft, as described in Section 3.

User information may be processed or stored in India or in other countries where Adiviksha's service providers operate.
